Yacht Crew Deck Skills: Knots, Radio & Safety

Build the essential practical skills needed to work confidently and safely aboard a yacht. This hands-on introductory program provides students with a practical foundation in yacht deck operations, essential knots, marine communication and onboard safety awareness. Students learn the fundamentals of line handling, basic deck terminology, knot tying, VHF communication procedures, emergency awareness, personal protective equipment and professional crew communication. The training is designed for new and aspiring yacht crew and provides transferable skills applicable to both interior and deck operations. Important: This course is not STCW Basic Training and does not replace any USCG-approved STCW certification or credential.
